The camel coat has made quite the statement this season and the one piece I was so excited to add to my wardrobe this fall.
If you saw my last post, “Thankful for Neutrals” — this coat continues my love for all things grey, tan and taupe.
When it comes to outerwear, I think it’s important to have three key coats in your closet: black, grey and tan. You can’t go wrong with this combination — the outfit opportunities are endless!
This camel dream is the Babaton Jacoby Coat from Aritzia. Be sure to check out the rest of their outerwear as well, I’m pretty much obsessed with all of it and don’t even get me started about their blanket scarves….(post coming soon!)
In this #OOTD I wanted to dress up my go-to day-to-day outfit; a grey sweater, black jeggings and my Stan Smith’s. This camel coat was the perfect touch to elevate my outfit.
This look is great for our current weather conditions in NYC, thanks to El Nino, my ankles do not freeze and I can show off my footwear game a bit with a cropped length.
I cut these American Eagle Outfitters jeggings myself to add some frayed detailing to the bottom. I’m going to admit, I did not cut these that great but after a few washes, they evened out ok. 🙂
I paired my jeans with this comfy and cozy American Eagle Outfitters mock neck sweater which I highly recommend. It comes in a few colors so you might need all of them, naturally.
Paired with my Ray-Bans, black tote and light grey Adidas Stan Smith’s, I’m ready to hit the streets of NYC in not only comfort but so on trend .
Are you ready to make this your new uniform?
